Brittani Miller

Brittani Miller was born and raised in Southern Illinois, where she still resides with her two cats and golden retriever. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Illinois Springfield, and her Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Lindenwood University. Her writing has appeared in various magazines, twice receiving the UIS Rosie Richmond Award for Women Writers as well as representing UIS at the 2021 COPLAC West/Midwest Conference. Lauren Stengel

Lauren Stengel is a writer from Southern Illinois. She holds a B.A. in English and Languages, Cultures, and International Studies and an M.A. in English Literature from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she taught introductory composition and technical writing as a graduate student. During her time at SIU, she also studied digital narrative and video game design. She currently resides in Champaign, IL where she works as an academic advisor for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Ashley Mueth

Poetry Editor

Ashley Mueth is a future reference and instruction librarian. She is an M.L.I.S. student at University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. She holds an M.A. in English Literature from Southern Illinois University. Her literary interests include British poetry, especially Victorian, Romantic, and environmental poetry. At UIUC, she is a graduate assistant at the Literature and Languages Library, a reference assistant at Ricker Library, and a toddler story time assistant at Champaign Public Library. She is auditing poetry workshops at UIUC in her free time. Her most recent poetry can be found in Grassroots Magazine.
