Spring is almost here, and in honor of Persephone’s return, CentraLit Magazine is looking for submissions that tackle the age-old theme of rebirth. This prompt can be taken literally or metaphorically; be creative! Must your protagonist rise from the ashes of their failings anew like the Phoenix? Does reincarnation exist in your world? Or, perhaps, you have had your own share of challenges that you have had to overcome. We want to know what rebirth means to you. We are accepting submissions that fit the theme for any of the following categories: fiction (short story and flash), nonfiction, poetry, and artwork. The deadline for submission is April 5, 2021.
