We had the opportunity to present the printed copies of the magazine to the local community for the first time. We also marketed with the local community to share info about the local arts community and how they can get involved. As part of our outreach and education in publishing, we provided “A Beginner’s Guide to Getting Published” booklets for free. We also provided DIY colorable bookmarks as a fun activity for the kids. We were excited to see other local booths such as the library promoting reading and Carrie Leigh’s providing free painting for the kids.

We had a great time celebrating the diverse culture of Southern Illinois with a great crowd of people, and look forward to continuing our outreach in Centralia and the rest of Southern/Central Illinois.
